A walk to end violence toward women,
and remembering our missing wives,
daughters and sisters
.

Around 50 participants walked a mile in high heels, and raised over $3,700 for the Prince Albert Women's shelter at the second annual walk a mile in her shoes event in Ahtahkakoop. The walk was organized by staff from the Cree Treatment Centre Haven, who said that they are looking forward to next years walk.Bryan Eneas/paNOW Staff
