Cree Nations Treatment Haven Philosophy
Cree Nations Treatment Haven invites individuals on a personal journey to rediscover life, free from alcohol and drugs plus other addictive and compulsive behaviors in a caring, nurturing environment, where they can begin to take responsibilty for themselves in a community atmosphere, where trust, confidence, self-esteem and respect is the primary focus.
Individuals are invited to be honest with their feelings, to examine their attitudes in terms of past relationships, and commit themselves to personal growth through the establishment of short and long term goals.
As caregivers, the BOARD OF DIRECTORS and the staff of the treatment center believe that people are respected as unique individuals, who have the right to freedom of expression and automony, which can be acquried by risk-taking and confrontation in therapeutically facilitated environments, where staff support individuals by sharing experiences and through role-playing.
